Dynamics AX on-site Supporter, Finance
Hempel is in a very exciting process where they are investing heavily in standardization and optimization of their business processes and business applications. Hempel IT department is responsible for support of the business critical applications worldwide. As part of their European implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, Hempel is now seeking a professional ServiceDesk Finance specialist that will provide local on-site support during the post-go live phase.
You will be a part of the AX ServiceDesk team that is responsible for the support of Hempel’s Microsoft Dynamics AX solution within Europe. The solution will support 500 users in Europe and 1.000 users worldwide. You play an active role and carry your part of the responsibility in order to make the daily use of the system a success.
Your main tasks
•On-site application support to all Dynamics AX users within Europe (In English)
•Incident handling via Hempel’s Service Management system
•Ensure efficient and customer focused support of Dynamics AX and associated applications according to the service levels agreed
•Aligning with best practices within IT operations
•Close cooperation with Group IT and 3rd party according to agreed IT service management processes
•System testing (new software releases, etc.)
•Process analysis and documentation
•Dynamics AX system configuration and documentation
•Documentation of business processes and user guides
You will be based in Gdansk but the position will require extended travel activity (up to 180 travelling days a year).
Your personal competencies
The ideal candidate has as a minimum a bachelor degree within finance or business economics. Today you are working in a similar role as a ServiceDesk specialist. Alternatively, you are working in a company where you are a specialist in the financial management modules. You have strong communication skills and you are not afraid of taking responsibility. You are analytical and structured. You are good at understanding and communication with people from different cultures and you get inspired by working in a dynamic environment.
Your professional competencies
You are expected to have the following competencies:
•Good understanding of financial management modules like (General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Fixed Assets, Reporting)
•Experience from ERP systems (preferably from Dynamics AX or Axapta 3.0 and higher)
•Fluent in English – verbal as well as writing
