The Container Depot Manager will be responsible for all matters relating to managing the container repair depot located in Gdynia and will work closely with the head office of Medlog SA, Geneva.
Some of the key functions and responsibilities for the role will be to:
To ensure that operational processes and resources are efficient and properly managed.
To provide detailed analysis of Business KPI’s and develop a strategic Business Plan in conjunction with the Board to ensure a culture of continuous and profitable improvement.
To develop and implement an agreed Financial Management and Information Technology Strategy in conjuncture with the board.
To maintain Occupational Health and Safety in accordance with all legislation and the companies own requirements.
Develop and implement overall marketing strategy for Medlog Poland.
Negotiate major commercial contracts ensuring that they will produce a profitable outcome.
To ensure all Customer expectations are met in a timely and courteous manner.
Establish a positive and effective culture for the Management Team where employees are encouraged to contribute to their utmost potential and are actively encouraged to seek more responsibility.

The ideal candidate for this position is an efficient Manager with strong leading and organizational abilities. In addition to these skills, He/ She, must also be a great communicator to work with the teams with the goal of increasing productivity for the entire company.
Some of the key expectations for the candidates:
4/6 year experience in similar job on managerial position.
Experience in Management of people.
Fluent in English.
A knowledge of the Shipping industry and Container Depot operations (desirable)
Good communication skills.
Self confidence and capability to lead our team.
Flexibility and attitude to adapt to changing workloads and operational pressures.
