invites to participate in the written tender for:
purchase and delivery of 2 items of electrical RTG cranes within the investment project „The
construction of infrastructure and purchase of equipment within phase II of building GCT container
terminal in Gdynia”.
This tender procedure is executed on the basis of the „Gdynia Container Terminal’s conditions for
conducting written tenders for the investment project „The construction of infrastructure and purchase
of equipment within phase II of building GCT container terminal in Gdynia” determined by the
resolution of the Management Board of Gdynia Container Terminal S.A. no. 1/25/2010 from 17.12.2010
with subsequent amendments – consolidated text, resolution no. 2/9/2011 from 28.07.2011, available
on Purchaser’s site:

Meetings of interested contractors to become familiar with the current terminal equipment, the relevant
operating conditions and to clarify any doubts related to the contract will be carried out after a prior
notice as described in the DOC.
Contractors, both from Poland and abroad, who may take a part in the procedure are those who:
- possess authorizations to perform activities related to the subject of the tender to
ensure: proper execution of the agreement, possessing the organizational,
economic and technical potential, and suitably qualified staff.
- are not included in the Debt Register and are not arrears with payments under
public or legal titles.
Expected order fulfilment: Maximum of 14 (fourteen) months from the date of signing
The Purchaser provides the conclusion of a contract with one, selected contractor to perform all work
covered by the contract.
Offers are to be submitted at the President’s Office of the Gdynia Container Terminal S.A., ul.
Energetyków 5, 81-184 Gdynia, room number 401 (4th floor) till 06.04.2012 / 14.00. The opening of
offers will take place on 11.04.2011 at 10.00 hrs. at the GCT seat during duly convened Tender
Committee’s meeting in the presence of the Commission members. An Authorised representative of the
tenderer may participate in the meeting of the Tender Committee during the opening of the offers.
Required term of validity of the Offer - minimum of 3 months.
The Purchaser reserves the right to:
- Terminate the tender procedure.
- Invalidate the tender procedure without giving any reasons.
- Complete the tender procedure without selecting any of the offers.
- Execute additional negotiations with selected Contractors.
- Not to accept any of the submitted offers.
- Introduce modifications to the Order, but not later than till the date designated as the deadline for
submission of tenders.
- Change the date of the order fulfilment
