A unique opportunity – global implementation
Hempel is in a very exciting process where they are investing heavily in standardization and optimization of their business processes and business applications. With the purpose to strengthen their strategy “One Hempel – One Ambition” Hempel IT is responsible for the implementation of the business critical applications worldwide.
As part of their global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009, Hempel A/S is now seeking a professional business consultant with experience in the sales management modules of Dynamics AX.
You will be the link between the business and the IT project and as such responsible for the implementation of that part of the system which falls under your area.
You will be a part of the project team that is responsible for the implementation of the global Microsoft Dynamics AX solution in Denmark as well as 47 Hempel sales- and manufacturing sites around the world. The solution will cover 1,000 users. This is a very operational job where you play an active role and carry your part of the responsibility in order to make the implementation of the new strategy and solution a success.
Your main tasks
You will be part of the project from the beginning, and as a result of this you will have a unique opportunity to set your mark on the solution.
Some of your tasks will be:
•Definition and implementation of Dynamics AX within your area of expertise
•Ensure best practices for Dynamics AX are being implemented
•Define the solution in order to fulfil the business requirements from headquarters as well as the local subsidiaries
•Analyse, create and document business processes and workflow
•Evaluate, prioritise and document change requests
•Develop system documentation
•Test of the current solution and future releases
•End-user training and creation of relevant training material
•Ad hoc support
You will be based in Gdansk or in the new factory in Niepruszewo/near Poznań but the position will require extended travel activity when the core template is defined and implemented in Denmark and the global roll-out is initialized.
Your personal and professional competencies
•As an ideal candidate you have a minimum of a bachelor degree.
•Today you are working in a similar role as a Dynamics AX consultant. Alternatively, you are working in a company as a specialist within the sales management modules in Dynamics AX, and you now wish to use your experience to create a new and perfect solution.
•You have strong communication skills and you are not afraid of taking responsibility. You are analytical and structured, and have a very good business knowledge, which makes you able to change the business requirements into an IT solution. You are good at building relationships and accustomed to communicate with people from different cultures and you get inspired by working in a dynamic environment.
•You are an expert, and preferably certified, in Dynamics AX with focus on the sales management modules (Sales Management, Trade, Statistics)
•You have good overall functional and technical knowledge about Dynamics AX, experience from Dynamics AX, Axapta or other ERP implementations
•Fluent in English – verbal as well as writing
